The DATMAN update/upgrade pricing is based on the following considerations.
  1. Recent customers (within 3 months) will receive a free update.
  2. A $10 service charge will be applied to all product updates and upgrades (except for free update of the same grade).
  3. Other DATMAN paid customers will receive a credit which is based upon the purchase price and date. 

     Credit   When purchased you DATMAN product 
    --------------------------------------------------------
      100%    within 3 months  (Jun 1999 or after)            
       75%    within 6 months  (Mar 1999 - May 1999)  
       50%    within 12 months (Sep 1998 - Feb 1999)
       25%    more than 12 months ago (Aug 1998 or earlier)

     For example, if you paid $80 for your DATMAN-8GB within 12 months,
     you get a $40 credit toward the DATMAN-99 update/upgrade.
This section helps you determine the cost of update/upgrade. (This is not an order form).
  1. Select the new DATMAN (equal or higher grade than what you own) 
     DATMAN-4GB  (up to 4 GB/tape)     $ 40
 DATMAN-8GB  (up to 8 GB/tape)     $ 80
 DATMAN-PRO  (full capacity)       $160
  2. Determine the credit you receive for the current version toward the update/upgrade.
